Generally used for high-speed running under normal operating conditions the drive sprocket (see various rated power speed conditions).
*17TEETH
Only be used for small pitch sprocket, such as 8mm and 8/8" pitch sprocket. See the section above, but only low-speed transmission (see various speeds rated power).
*15TEETH OR LESS
Must be avoided, unless the spindle speed is lower than 100r/min.
*23TEETH OR MORE THAN23
Recommended for impact situation. When the speed ratio is low, the use of a chain can be significantly reduced draft teeth amount of rotation of chain, the chain tensile load and bearing load. If fewer sprocket teeth for high speed, high load applications,the hardware cinsidered as hardened sprocket tooth surface.
For single-row chain drive. Recommended ratio not exceeding 7:1. For a5:1 ratio over all the gear, the designer should consider the use of multi-row chain drve, in order to improve life. More than a3:1 gear ratio, and its shaft center distance of not less than the sum of sprocket pitch circle diameter. For vertical shaft drive, always should be a multi-row chains.
